We started this publication 3 years and 5 issues ago, completely self-funded and volunteer-run, in the hopes of creating a space to platform the diaspora–immigrant, third culture and of the global majority. We became tired of seeing our stories told from an outside point of view, and dedicated ourselves to telling them from our own. With the funds from the new subscription tiers, both print and digital, we will be able to compensate our contributors and artists at a better rate, as well as cover printing, production, and overhead costs. These tiers will help us become more sustainable and better able to support our community.
